The Fundraising Committee organizes a variety of fundraising events such as: Gift-wrap sales, Grano dinner, and direct donations. There are lots of projects, big and small. Be a helper or lead an event, it is up to you.

A Message to All the Fabulous Supporters of École publique John Fisher Public School
Becoming involved in the life of your school can be rewarding for you, your child and the entire school. In fact, studies show that good schools become better schools when parents are involved. As a parent to a child or children attending École publique John Fisher Public School, you may be aware of the funding pressures of the public school system. Without the support from you, the families of John Fisher, our children may not have access to everything they need for their learning and growth.
Did you know that scientists in the classrooms, professional artists to work with our children, anti-bullying programs, cultural enrichment activities, and play structures to use at recess are some of the things that are funded by School Council through school fundraising? Our library and music programs would have limited resources, our teams and choirs would be without uniforms and equipment, and many of our children would never be exposed to a variety of cultural activities without the generosity of parents at the school. We believe that the funds raised each year through our various fundraising initiatives are critical to our children’s education. You help fund these programs.
The Fundraising Committee’s goal this year is to raise $45,000 from the school community. Your help is needed to make it happen. We will be running a variety of initiatives so please do not feel you must respond to all fundraising activities. The goal of the Fundraising Committee is to provide a variety of fundraisers so that parents and families can contribute in a manner which makes sense for them. Order, donate, or participate only as you see fit! The intention is to do the best we can for one of the most important aspects of our children’s lives, their education.
