Welcome to our School Council information page!

The School Council is formed to act in the best interests of the students.  We fundraise, have a lunch program, run events, assist teachers with programs, have a green committee, watch out for the health and safety of the children, recognize achievements and milestones of students and teachers, and many other actions too numerous to mention.   We meet monthly in the Library.  During the course of our meetings, any issue that we believe impacts our children and school is discussed.

We welcome all to join the Council, and give whatever time and energy you have to the school. Our first meeting this fall will be Thursday, September 22th, 2011, at 7:15 p.m.  Please join us, and take this opportunity to get involved in John Fisher!

Our next School Council meeting – Thursday Febrary 23rd, 2012 at 7:15pm in the library. We look forward to seeing you there.

Reminder:  There is no School Council meeting in December 2011.
