Kiss’n Ride Program
Parent volunteers staff a Kiss’n Ride program on Keewatin Avenue (North side of the School) every morning between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Parents are encouraged to use this invaluable service for a speedy and safe drop-off that avoids congestion on Erskine Ave where buses drop off. The Kiss ‘n Ride drop-off area is marked by orange pylons where a volunteer will assist your child out of the car and safely into the school yard, so that you can be on your way quickly.
Parking Parents are asked not to park on either the North or South side of the school, or in front of or behind the school buses. The South side is reserved for buses; the North side is a “No Parking” area. Parking on the South side, in front of or behind the buses, contributes to traffic congestion and unsafe conditions for walking children and parents.
The school parking lot on Erskine Ave. is reserved for Staff from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you are visiting the school, there is 10-minute short-term parking just east of the Kiss’n Ride area on Keewatin; one and two-hour parking further east on Keewatin, as well as meters and metered parking lots in the immediate vicinity on Yonge Street, Redpath and other neighbouring streets.
Bus Drop-Off and Pick-up The front of the school (South side) on Erskine Avenue is reserved for school buses. Children are dropped off between 8:30 and 8:45, and picked up between 3:25 and 3:40 by big buses. Kindergarten students are picked up at 11:15, and dropped off at 12:40 by small buses in the same location.
